In one of his tour riders, the former Genesis singer requested a one-hour female-only relaxing deep muscle massage in what he described as "a hippy style." The person giving the massage was not to be a sports therapist or chiropractor and was asked to endure an hour in an incensed-filled room. According to Gabriel, "Soothing + Relaxing + Calming = Happy Artiste."
