Pearl Jam have announced the dates for the North American leg of their 2013 tour. It launches on Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh and wraps up Dec. 6 in their hometown of Seattle.

The band announced the news on its website with a countdown clock, which some fans speculated may reveal details about a new Pearl Jam album. Earlier this year, guitarist Mike McCready told reporters that the band was working on a new record, which should come out sometime in 2013.

Tickets for the tour go on sale July 27 at 10 a.m., with pre-sale tickets for Pearl Jam Ten Club members available now. Pearl Jam's last album, 2009's 'Backspacer,' debuted at No. 1, the band's first chart-topping LP since 1996's 'No Code.' It marked a comeback of sorts for the group, which released the record on its own label, Monkeywrench.
