Paul Stanley, Phil Collen to Visit VH1’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp

You, too can be a rock star! VH1 Classic's 'Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp' is staging its return, with season two premiering on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 10pm ET/PT. This season's special guests include Kiss frontman Paul Stanley and Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen.

The show plucks average Joes from the depth of obscurity and plunges them into the once-in-a-lifetime dream scenario: they'll get to test their musical abilities and skills to see if they have what it takes to rock 'n' roll all night and party every day.

15 musicians from a variety of backgrounds will attempt to navigate and survive the pitfalls of rock 'n' roll while we watch to see who emerges from at the other side with horns in the air.

It's the ultimate anthropological rock experiment!

Three groups of five will labor under the watchful eye of a rock 'n' roll camp counselor -- Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum or songwriter Mark Hudson -- who will each dole out guidance, offer up pointers and generally turn mere mortals into rock gods. Each group gives a performance for the judges at week's end.

The winning band will then be able to step on stage with Sammy Hagar for their opportunity of a lifetime.
