Paul Simon is heading back out on the road this summer.

Simon, still supporting last year's Stranger to Stranger LP, is slated to start his next leg of dates on June 1, when he plays the first of 16 shows scheduled throughout the month. Starting in St. Augustine, Fla., Simon will travel throughout the U.S., wrapping up on June 28 with a stop in Denver.

The upcoming dates come after a busy 2016 for Simon, who honored a long list of concert commitments surrounding Stranger to Stranger. The album peaked at No. 3 in the U.S., his strongest chart showing since his classic 1986 solo LP Graceland hit its commercial high-water mark, and Stranger's warm reception seems to have cooled Simon's evident itch for retirement.

After hinting he'd take a break from songwriting last year, Simon admitted he was thinking about hanging it up for good. Saying he was "coming toward the end" of his career, he shrugged, "Showbiz doesn’t hold any interest for me. None."

Of course, as fans are aware, Simon has since continued to create — most recently in collaboration with the Social Experiment, members of which contributed to the "Stranger" track he released last fall.
