Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his appearance at the Graspop Metal Meeting festival in Belgium tonight (June 25) because he is suffering from severe laryngitis.

"I was so looking forward to performing at the legendary Graspop Metal Meeting,"  stated Osbourne. "It really pains me to let people down and it is with great disappointment that I am unable to perform for the great fans of Belgium."

The heavy metal legend was ordered by his doctor to rest his voice for 72 hours before being evaluated again.

The Graspop Metal Meeting festival will still go on, with Judas Priest headlining and Whitesnake, Black Label Society and other acts rounding out the bill. Judas Priest now plan to make their gig a two-hour set to make up for the absence of Osbourne.
