In August of 2010, Robin Trower released ‘A Tale Untold: The Chrysalis Years 1973-1976,' his first anthology of the albums he produced for Chrysalis Records.

Now a Feb. 27 release date has been announced for the companion collection, 'Farther On Up The Road: The Chrysalis Years 1977-1983.' Featuring six more albums, this second volume includes the remaining releases Trower recorded for the label, including two LPs made with Cream’s legendary bassist and vocalist, Jack Bruce.

The three-CD set opens with 1977’s 'In City Dreams,' which now has the 7” single edit of 'Bluebird' -- available on CD for the first time -- along with 1978's 'Caravan To Midnight.'

Next up is 1979’s 'Victims Of The Fury' (with the rare B-side ‘One In A Million'), and the first of two albums to feature Jack Bruce, 'B.L.T.,' which dropped in 1981, followed by 'Truce' the year after.

Finally, the set wraps up with 'Back It Up,' Trower's eleventh and last LP for Chrysalis. Originally released in 1983, it sees the return of longtime collaborator Jimmy Dewar on bass and vocals.

Mark your calendars, gang.
