Our September 2014 New Music Releases list finds some of classic rock's biggest names -- including Robert Plant, Stevie Nicks, Slash and John Mellencamp -- hitting the stores with new albums for your autumn enjoyment.

Former Led Zeppelin singer Plant emerges almost exactly four years after the release of 2010's 'Band of Joy' with the oddly capitalized 'lullaby ... and THE CEASELESS ROAR,' his 10th studio album and the first to feature yet another brand-new backing band, the Sensational Space Shifters.

Depending on how you count the two Snakepit records, former Guns N' Roses star Slash is back with his third or fifth solo album, 'World on Fire.' Regardless, it's the second to feature Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators as his backing band. Other September new-release highlights include Stevie Nicks opening her vaults for a collection of previously unreleased songs, and the final studio album from recently departed blues legend Johnny Winter.
