New Music Releases: September 2011

Our list of new music releases for September 2011 is dominated by Pink Floyd, who kick off a massive reissue campaign next month with new versions of every one of their studio records, including a massive 6-disc "Immersion" edition of their classic 'Dark Side of the Moon' album.

However, even without the mighty British space-rockers, we'd have a very full list of new records and DVDs to tell you about. Two revamped Jimi Hendrix live collections, including a drastically expanded 4-CD, 8-LP version of his 'Winterland' set, will be available, and the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's landmark 'Nevermind' album will be marked with several new items, including a box set and a live concert from that era.

If that's not enough, there's also brand new albums from Alice Cooper, Chickenfoot, Leslie West and Jane's Addiction on the way in September.
