The new music releases for November 2011 are highlighted by Pink Floyd, who are putting out a five-disc box "Immersion" box set of their 1975 landmark 'Wish You Were Here.'

As with their excellent six-disc version of 'The Dark Side of the Moon' from last month, the 'Wish You Were Here' box features an array of photo books, recreated ticket stubs, drink coasters and even a scarf. That's all, of course, in addition to a wealth of unreleased music.

Pink Floyd is hardly the only classic rock act releasing lavish box sets celebrating one of their famous albums in times for the holidays, as you can see from this extensive list below.

The Who are releasing two-disc and box set versions of their 'Quadrophenia' album, U2 is putting out, at last count, five different editions of their 1991 masterpiece 'Achtung Baby,' and the Beach Boys are FINALLY unlocking their long-unreleased 'Smile' sessions.
