December's new music releases are highlighted by the long-anticipated Blu-ray release of Rush's brand new live concert DVD, 'Time Machine: Live in Cleveland.'

The legendary Canadian trio recorded their show in the oft-ridiculed town to thank the city for supporting the band early in their career.

To be honest, it's a rather slow month for releases, which is typical for December. After all, bands and record labels usually do their best to get all their latest CDs, DVDs, books and albums into stores ahead the "Black Friday" launch of the holiday shopping season.

Still, there's some very cool stuff to be found, such as a live Fleetwood Mac album from 1970 (That's post-Green and pre-Buckingham, if you're not up on your Mac lineup timelines) and the 10th anniversary deluxe packaged edition of Motley Crue's autobiography 'The Dirt.'

Antother book that promises to capture classic rock fans' interest is 'Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside and Outside of AC/DC,' by former bassist Mark Evans, who was in the band from the beginning through their fast rise to worldwide rock stardom.
