New Music Releases – August 2013

The August 2013 new music releases list is highlighted by a visit to the early days of one of rock's biggest bands, Fleetwood Mac.

The group's pre-'Rumours' era will get two spiffy reissues this month. On Aug. 20 an expanded reissue of their 1969 album 'Then Play On' will be released, featuring two tracks that have never been available on CD before. A vinyl box set entitled '1969-72' collecting the group's first four Reprise releases will also be offered the same day.

August will also see re-released versions of albums from Santana and the Monkees, as well as the second studio set from the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
