Neil Peart – September 2012 Classic Rock Birthdays

The big six-oh is approaching quickly for legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart, who will reach that milestone on Sept. 12, 2012.

Peart officially joined up with the hard rocking Rush in 1974, and it was his unique, jazz-influenced style that helped lead the band into the more complex, progressive waters so adored by their fans today.

With the critically acclaimed new album 'Clockwork Angels' just out, and a big tour starting up shortly, it's our guess that Peart has no plans to put down his sticks anytime soon.
