Tom Petty and his Mudcrutch bandmates are back on the road with a summer tour in support of their recently released new album, 2.

As previously reported, the band's 2016 dates will keep them in front of crowds through late June, when they're currently scheduled to wrap up with a stop in San Diego. Tickets for each of Mudcrutch's non-festival dates come with a copy of the new album on CD.

The group's Facebook page notes that the first two dates on the tour, May 23 and 24 at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall on the California State Northridge campus, are being held in support of the Midnight Mission, a Los Angeles-based charity dedicated to offering 12-step recovery, family living, job training, education and workforce development programs to men, women and children who have, in the words of the Mission's site, "lost direction."

Fans hoping to check out Mudcrutch on tour this summer can watch a few minutes of fan-shot footage above, which finds the group delivering its set-closing cover of Jerry Lee Lewis' "High School Confidential." The other 20 songs on the set list, which you can peruse below, were evenly split between the two Mudcrutch records. After wrapping up in Northridge, the group heads to Denver on May 26; visit the band's website for detailed ticketing information.
