A mega rare U2 'With Or Without You' 7" vinyl single is of mega value, at least to one bidder. This Ecuadorian (South American) pressing of the 'Joshua Tree' hit has the title in both Spanish and English on the label and recently sold via eBay in the generic factory sleeve that it was released in.

The A-side 'With Or Without You' / 'Contigo O Sin Ti' is backed with 'Where The Streets Have No Name' / 'Donde Las Calles No Tienen Nombre' and according to the seller is a "mega rare" (or "mucho raro," for our Spanish speaking readers) piece of U2 vinyl. Both songs are produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno.

This 7" was originally issued in 1987 on the Ariola label with the catalog number 208219, but strangely the seller lists the catalog number as 200912 -- which is clearly inaccurate, according to the photo. The picture also reveals handwriting on top of the label which isn't mentioned in the description, yet the condition is still listed as "very good."

The seller originally posted the single for a duration of five days through an eBay auction, with a starting price of $499.97. A 'Buy It Now' option was offered for $2,000 and go figure, less than four hours after the posting, the single sold for the mega value of two grand. Muy bien!
