Despite his recent health issues, Lemmy is gearing up to rock and roll on the high seas -- all aboard the SS Motorhead!!

Motorhead, Megadeth, and Anthrax are teaming up for the first annual 'Motorboat' cruise. Also along to make waves will be Zakk Wylde, Danko Jones, Fireball Ministry and comedian Jim Breuer, among others.

'Motorhead’s Motorboat' will launch from Miami on board the Carnival Ecstasy, visiting the ports of Key West, Florida and Cozumel just off Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. The cruise runs from Sept. 22 through 26, 2014. More acts will be announced shortly. Fans will be able to interact with band members, and see performances on various stages throughout the ship. Tickets for the Charo-free cruise go on sale Tuesday, March 18. More information, and pricing, will be available on MotorheadCruise.com, as well as the official Facebook page for the event.

In a press release for the event, Motorhead main man Lemmy said, "This will be everything you've come to expect from a night out with us, except even louder, with more great bands and no way of escaping! If you thought waves could rock a boat, you've got another thing coming with this lovely little outing!"

Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine added his two cents, saying, “There never has and never will be another cruise like Motorboat cruise. This is the coolest way to ever see a metal concert.” Scott Ian of Anthrax adds, “Anthrax, Motorhead and Megadeth at sea??? To quote Chief Brody [Jaws], ‘We're going to need a bigger boat.’”

Though Motorhead recently cancelled their European tour due to Lemmy's ongoing health problems, it looks like the green light has been given for this voyage, as well as the band's appearance at Coachella in April.
