Motley Crue Rock Dodge 100th Anniversary Event

Under ordinary circumstances, if Motley Crue ended up playing to an audience of fewer than 1,000 people, at least one promoter would end up looking for work the next morning. But when the band took the stage in front of hundreds of screaming fans on Nov. 1, it was all part of an exclusive event put together to help Dodge celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Held at the new Gas Monkey venue in Dallas, the event offered Dodge drivers an opportunity to show off their rides and take a spin in some of the automaker’s most high-performance cars, as well as the chance to see the most unique stops on Motley Crue’s farewell tour.

Fortunately, although most of us weren’t able to be there, we can enjoy a few samples from the festivities, including the performance of ‘Anarchy in the U.S.A.’ at the top as well as the band’s rubber-burning arrival at the event, which you can watch below.

Clearly, a good time was had by all — with the possible exception of Crue drummer Tommy Lee, who ended up losing his drone somehow while flying it around the parking lot. Despite offering “rewards!!!” for its safe return, it appears that Tommy’s toy may have been left behind when the band’s tour buses pulled out of Texas, while Lee was left hoping that it might have landed on top of the FBI offices across the street.
