You know the Minions -- those little yellow, gibberish-spewing creatures from the 'Despicable Me' movies -- are good at making people laugh. Turns out they have pretty good taste in music, too.

We're saying this not just because the 'Despicable Me 2' soundtrack helped fuel the success of Pharrell Williams' massive hit single 'Happy' (although that's plenty impressive in its own right), but because the trailer for the little guys' upcoming spinoff adventure boasts a pair of rock classics -- and since the main storyline appears to take place in the late '60s, we can probably expect a lot more where that came from.

In the above clip, you can hear Queen and David Bowie's 'Under Pressure' in the opening moments, when the Minions are pictured strolling out of the primordial ooze and setting about their life's mission -- doing their best to serve the biggest, baddest villain around. (Don't worry, they're not very good at it.) Their misguided efforts eventually leave them without a leader, which is when three brave Minions named Stuart, Kevin and Bob set out to find a new purpose for their tribe -- and end up in New York City, where they meet civilization to the strains of Jimi Hendrix's 'Foxey Lady.'

Promising 90-odd minutes of wacky, colorful adventures and "a soundtrack of hit music from the ’60s that still permeates our culture today," 'Minions' is due in U.S. theaters July 10, 2015.
