As the below photo retrospective of Mick Jagger's wife and girlfriends history displays, the Rolling Stones frontman has been romantically linked to many intelligent, accomplished and beautiful women over the years.

In fact, we're pretty confident the below gallery actually only represents a small fraction of Jagger's dating life, but all of his public, long-term relationships, and the women with whom he has conceived all seven (soon to be eight) of his children are all present and accounted for.

Jagger didn't even need to become world famous to start luring the women. He was dating Chrissie Shrimpton, a British model who would go on to an acting career, back in 1963, before the Stones had even released a record in the U.S. But after they broke up in 1966, it's been a steady stream of women, including Marianne Faithfull, Jerry Hall, future French First Lady Carla Bruni and his only wife, the former Bianca Perez-Mora Macias. And that's not even including Carly Simon, whose friendship with Jagger resulted in him singing on her classic, "You're So Vain," although it's never been confirmed that they were a couple.

His seeming inability to be tied down for too long can be seen as a tribute to the source of his band's name. The Stones took their name from Muddy Waters' 1950 single for Chess, "Rollin' Stone," whose lyrics are about an unrepentant philanderer. "Well, I wish I was a catfish / Swimmin in a oh, deep, blue sea / I would have all you good lookin' women / Fishin, fishin after me," the lyric begins,

But while the proverbial rolling stone gathers no moss, Jagger has acquired quite the portfolio, which includes not only the women and the children they've created, but also numerous grandchildren and even a great-grandchild. Check out the gallery to learn more about them all.
