Given his status as one of rock's most...romantically active frontmen, it's hard to be surprised by any of the many rumors surrounding Mick Jagger's sex life -- but still, a few eyebrows were raised when Katy Perry revealed that the Rolling Stones singer hit on her when she was just an 18-year-old backup singer on one of his solo tracks.

Perry's revelation apparently got a rise out of Jagger himself, actually, because he felt the need to issue a response to her accusations. "Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry," reads the statement issued by his PR team. "Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else."

Now, it's easy to make jokes about a person's intellect when they're known for shooting sparklers and/or whipped cream out of their bra, but really -- how many people on this planet could honestly be mistaken for Mick Jagger? If we had to guess, we'd say it's Jagger with the selective memory, but either way, things seem to have worked out pretty well for both of them since this alleged incident, which may or may not have taken place during the 2004 sessions for the 'Alfie' soundtrack song 'Old Habits Die Hard.'

If anyone has a right to be ticked off here, it's probably Perry's friends. Asked how she coped with romantic overtures from famous older men during her teen years, Perry shrugged, "Well, you bring a friend, and then they do them. You sacrifice your friend."
