Metallica are set to play a gig at a corporate event in their hometown of San Francisco on Aug. 31. But don't worry, you won't have to wear a suit to attend -- as long as you're a lucky member of the band's fan club.

The concert will be open to attendees of the Salesforce.com Dreamforce Convention at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, but Metallica is also giving away hundreds of tickets to their Met Club members.

"It promises to be quite the party," reads a post on Metallica's official site. "Where else can you learn everything you ever wanted to know about cloud computing during the day and then rock out with the 'Tallica at night?"

The gig will serve as a warm-up of sorts for Metallica's Big 4 show with Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax on Sept. 14 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y.

Meanwhile, Metallica axe-man Kirk Hammett graces the cover of the new issue of Guitar Aficionado magazine. Click here to view a gallery of photos from his shoot for the publication.
