With a few days to go before the expanded 10th anniversary edition of Metallica's 'Some Kind of Monster' documentary arrives in stores, the band has posted a few minutes of the bonus footage that's been newly added to the package.

The clip, which you can watch above, comes from 'This Monster Lives,' a 25-minute collection of interviews conducted with the band members at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, where they'd gathered to premiere their most recent film, 'Metallica Through the Never.' The new footage finds Metallica looking back on the tumultuous experience of filming 'Some Kind of Monster' -- and ultimately giving it credit for keeping the group together.

As previously reported, Metallica singer/guitarist James Hetfield has been particularly open about his feelings regarding 'Monster' recently, admitting it's hard for him to watch the movie but adding, "Man, I learned a lot about what I don’t like about me. Which was good -- it was a good mirror. And I think everyone involved in that movie pretty much felt the same way about themselves."

The 10th anniversary edition of 'Some Kind of Monster' is due out Nov. 24, and is currently available for pre-order at Metallica's official site.
