The long-awaited reissue of Metallica‘s landmark 1986 album Master of Puppets will be here in time for the holiday season. Today, the band announced that it will arrive on Nov. 10, with three options available.

In addition to a remastered version of the original record, an expanded edition adds a disc containing rough mixes, demos and an interview; a third disc of various live songs from the “Damage, Inc.” tour and a 28-page booklet. Both will be available on CD, vinyl and digital formats. A 108-page hardcover book about that period in Metallica’s can be bundled with either set or purchased individually. You can see full details on the expanded edition at their website.

The deluxe edition contains the remaster on both CD and vinyl; a two-LP concert from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago; two CDs of interviews; three discs containing rough mixes, riffs, demos and outtakes from the vaults of James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich that show how the songs evolved, four more CDs of concerts, including Jason Newsted‘s audition following the death of bassist Cliff Burton; a cassette of another show and two DVDs containing two more concerts and interviews.

That’s just the music. They are also adding the aforementioned hardcover book, a folder of handwritten lyrics, six buttons and a “Damage, Inc.” lithograph. You can see an unboxing video above and the complete track listing below.

Metallica are accepting pre-orders at their web store. Those who purchase the single-CD version ahead of time will receive an immediate download of “Disposable Heroes,” and order pre-order the deluxe or expanded Editions will also receive “The Thing That Should Not Be” from the Aragon Ballroom show. You can listen to both songs below.
