Brace yourselves for a Metal Meltdown, Las Vegans: On May 30, four veteran rock bands are scheduled to descend upon the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas for a hits-filled concert that's being filmed for theatrical release.

The evening's entertainment, set to begin at 6PM, includes sets from Extreme, Twisted Sister, Skid Row and Great White. The venue promises that each act will be "performing their biggest hits," although Extreme's set is special — the band, currently in the middle of its Pornograffitti Live 25th Anniversary tour, will perform that album in its entirety.

The whole show is being filmed and recorded for an array of releases that include a 3D theatrical engagement as well as DVD, Blu-ray, CD and vinyl formats. Specific details for those versions of the Metal Meltdown performances have yet to be announced.

While Extreme celebrates Pornograffiti's 25th anniversary, Metal Meltdown catches the other bands on the bill at their own pivotal moments: Twisted Sister recently announced their upcoming farewell tour following the death of drummer A.J. Pero, and Skid Row are playing their first dates following the addition of new vocalist Tony Harnell. Great White, meanwhile, settled a legal tug-of-war with former vocalist Jack Russell over the band name last year.

Tickets for Metal Meltdown are on sale now. Visit the Hard Rock website for more information.
