Supergroup Metal Allegiance paid tribute to several late rock legends during a performance over the weekend. You can watch a highlights playlist of the set, put together by our friends at Loudwire, above.

The Tribute to Fallen Heroes show took place Friday night at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Metal Allegiance's David Ellefson, Mike Portnoy, Alex Skolnick and Mark Menghi were joined by some of the genre's biggest names during the performance.

Testament's Chuck Billy, Anthrax's Charlie Benante, Fozzy's Chris Jericho, Death Angel's Mark Osegueda, Machine Head's Phil Demmel, Slayer's Gary Holt, the Winery Dogs' Billy Sheehan, Motorhead's Mikkey Dee and Halestorm's Arejay Hale were on hand to assist with a cover of Metallica's "Seek & Destroy," which kicks off the playlist above. Stick around for Metal Allegiance versions of songs by Megadeth ("Peace Sells") and Queen ("Stone Cold Crazy").

Queen's late singer Freddie Mercury was one of the artists Metal Allegiance paid tribute to during the show. David Bowie, Cliff Burton and Lemmy Kilmister were also honored during the concert.

The above playlist, in addition to including a pair of Metal Allegiance originals, features covers of Bowie's 'Suffragette City," Deep Purple's "Space Truckin'" and Motorhead's "Iron Fist."

The 10-song video playlist above also includes an appearance by Ray Burton, father of Metallica's late bassist Cliff. He joins the all-star group onstage at one point for a tribute to his son, who was killed in a bus crash in September 1986 while on tour in Sweden with Metallica in support of their Master of Puppets album.
