Meat Loaf – September 2012 Classic Rock Birthdays

Rare is it that someone's able to attain any level of fame while being named after a dinner dish, but somehow, Meat Loaf, who turns 65 on Sept. 27, was able to do it. Of course, it didn't hurt that he has an incredible voice.

Over the years, the singer born Marvin Lee Aday transfixed us with a unique repertoire of epic songs including 'I'd Do Anything For Love,' 'Paradise By The Dashboard Light,' and 'Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad.' Despite his 'Celebrity Apprentice' breakdowns, we've loved him both on the stage and screen -- most notably 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' and 'Fight Club,' where he played Bob... and we all know what Bob had.
