With all the craziness surrounding the will-they-won't-they-when-hell-freezes-over circumstances surrounding Guns N' Roses' induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a mini-reunion of sorts took place Friday (April 13) night. At the House of Blues in Cleveland, only a few blocks from the Hall of Fame, Duff McKagan was joined onstage by his fellow former Gunners Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke.

McKagan was there to read selections from his memoir, 'It's So Easy (and Other Lies)' with musical accompaniment from a band. As he read, photos of photos of his personal and professional lives were displayed on a screen behind him.

Eventually the bassist brought out his old bandmates Sorum and Clarke for a few songs, including 'Sweet Child O' Mine,' a cover of Johnny Thunders' 'You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory' and a few bars of 'Patience.' Donovan Leitch, whose father Donovan will be inducted with Guns N' Roses tonight, joined them on stage.

At the show's close, McKagan told the capacity crowd, “You’ve been really f------ overwhelming!”
