Love's classic 1967 album Forever Changes will receive a four-disc reissue for its 50th anniversary. Yeah, they're a few months late on this, but fans will no doubt like what's in store.

For starters, the album's rare mono mix – which hasn't been available in years – will be included in the four-CD set. The 50th Anniversary Edition also includes an alternate mix of the album plus an entire disc of single versions, outtakes and other rarities from the LP's sessions, a handful of which are previously unreleased.

This new reissue comes out on April 6. You can see the track listing below.

Love's third album wasn't a hit when it was released in November 1967. In fact, it didn't even crack the Top 150. But today the album is considered a cornerstone record from the Summer of Love. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008 and was added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress four years later.

Forever Changes' deft mix of folk, psychedelia and baroque pop influenced other experiments in the genres over the coming decades. But the band began to splinter after the record's release, and by the time they put out a follow-up, Four Sail, in 1969, only singer and guitarist Arthur Lee remained.

In addition to the original album – newly remastered by the LP's original co-producer and engineer Bruce Botnick – and the aforementioned various mixes, the new set includes a vinyl copy and a DVD with a 24/96 stereo mix and a rare promotional video for "Your Mind and We Belong Together," a single Love released in 1968.
