It's onward and upward for Lou Reed!  Fresh off last year's 'Lulu' collaboration with Metallica, Reed, who turns 70 next month, is taking his music back on the road in retrospective style. The tour, called 'From VU To Lulu,' will see Lou tramping all over Europe delivering songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's vast catalogue.

Beginning in Luxembourg on June 6, he and his touring band (drummer Tony ‘Thunder’ Smith, basist Rob Wasserman, keyboardist Kevin Hearn and guitarist Aram Bajakian) will make their way across Europe for a month's worth of shows, including stops at several festivals. The trek wraps up at the Pohoda Festival in Slovakia on July 5.

So will fans get 'Sister Ray' straight into 'The View,' or pairing of 'Blue Mask' and 'My Red Joystick?' How about the entire 'Velvet Underground And Nico' album?! Ok, that may be asking too much of the man. But, there's obviously a lot of material to pick from.

Though near-universally panned by critics and fans alike, the 'Lulu' album recently got a big thumbs up from both Howard Stern and the Cult's Ian Astbury, with Stern calling 'Junior Dad' "as good as any symphony."
