Lindsey Buckingham Announces 2011 Tour in Support of New Album

Fleetwood Mac singer-guitarist Lindsey Buckingham will launch a fall solo tour in support of his upcoming independently released album, ‘Seeds We Sow,” which drops Sept. 6.

The North American trek kicks off with a two-night stand Sept. 9-10 in Reno, Nev., and wraps up with an Oct. 25 show in Napa, Calif. Tickets for select cities go on sale this Thursday, June 16.

Buckingham feels that ‘Seeds We Sow’ ranks up there with his greatest works over his 40-year career. He wrote, produced and performed every song on the disc.

“This might be the best work I’ve ever done,” Buckingham says of the new album in a press release. “I think it’s an excellent representation of what I do. It shows a certain maturity and musicianship and I just feel like I have a lot of tools in my musical vocabulary from which to draw that are again the product of the choices I’ve made.”

The album’s first single is ‘In Our Own Time,’ while other songs on the disc include the rocker ‘One Take’ and the ballad ‘She Smiles Sweetly.’
