Okay, so the saving grace here is that Led Zeppelin was at least nominated for a Grammy back in 1970 for Best New Artist, and based on that whole "best new artist curse" maybe it's best they didn't collect that night.

Guitarist Jimmy Page and vocalist Robert Plant did manage to win individually after their band disbanded, but it's kind of hard to believe the guys behind 'Stairway to Heaven,' one of the most influential pieces of work in the industry, were never rewarded for their incredible collective efforts.

In 2005, the group were awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy, the people who run the Grammys.
