It took just one motivated bidder to close the deal on a one-of-a-kind souvenir from the Band's legendary farewell concert 'The Last Waltz,' which recently sold for $3,599.99 on eBay.

That's what happens when you're offering a copy of the album -- even though it's a little worse for the wear -- that includes signatures from most of the major guest stars from that amazing night of music on Thanksgiving, November 25, 1976, at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom. Included are Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Neil Diamond, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell and four of the five members of the Band, including Garth Hudson and the late Levon Helm and Richard Manuel.

'The Last Waltz,' which also featured performances from Dr. John, Muddy Waters and the Staple Singers, was later released as a Martin Scorsese-directed documentary in 1978. The album seller said the signatures were collected by a record producer from the Dallas-Fort Worth area over a period of years into the '80s.
