Kiss Are a Bloody Comic Marvel – Gruesome Rock Legends

Sometimes the craziest legends aren't legends at all. Kiss were a natural subject for a comic book, given their larger-than-life personas and unmatched penchant for self-promotion. But in 1977 the band outdid themselves when they allowed their blood to be drawn, then added to the ink for the first edition of Marvel Comics' Super Special Kiss Comic Book. The musicians were even photographed giving their blood for the questionable project. Given their well-documented sexual and drug exploits, would you want your kid to own a comic book that contained the blood of Kiss?
