Classic rock keeps turning up in the oddest places. Now, the jarring, heavy riff of the Kinks classic, 'All Day and All of the Night' is found blaring out of your refrigerator thanks to a new ad campaign from Yoplait yogurt. In the clip (embedded above), family members strip the refrigerator's shelves of all the Yoplait while the unmistakable sounds of the Kinks hits you like a tidal wave.

Originally released in late 1964, 'All Day and All of the Night' was the follow-up to their first big hit, 'You Really Got Me.' The song took that signature choppy riff used on its predecessor, and reconfigured it to even more startling effect. 'All Day' was a No. 2 hit in England, one of 17 Top 40 singles the band would have in the '60s. It fared very well stateside as well, clocking in at No. 7.

The Kinks aren't the only Mod era rockers hitting the ad wars. In a recent spot for Best Buy (found below), the Creation are heard loud and clear with their signature song, 'Making Time.' The 1966 stomping freakbeat classic was also famously used over the opening credits in the film 'Rushmore' back in 1998.
