Kings of Chaos, a rotating supergroup that features Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses and ZZ Top, offered plenty of expected favorites and a few surprises too when they played the Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., on Saturday.

Robin Zander took the mic for Cheap Trick's "Surrender" and "I Want You to Want Me" to open the night. Glenn Hughes, a mid-'70s member of Deep Purple, then sang lead for "Smoke on the Water" and "Burn." Billy Gibbons performed "La Grange," "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Tush."

Hughes also led a tribute to recently departed blues legend B.B. King with a rendition of "The Thrill Is Gone." Zander took on Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell," while Hughes handled vocals for an encore presentation of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love." Gibbons dug deep into the ZZ Top catalog for "Waitin' for the Bus" and "Jesus Just Left Chicago," adding a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" along the way. You can see the set list below and photos above.

Kings of Chaos grew out of lineup that, at one point, featured four members of the early '90s version of Guns N' Roses -- like Gilby Clarke, who handled vocals on Saturday for Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," originally covered by GNR on Use Your Illusion II. Zander took over for "Mr. Brownstone." The Kings of Chaos closed with "Paradise City," with Hughes and Zander sharing vocals.
