If you’re a fan of both country music and classic rock, you’ll love this: Rascal Flatts and Journey are set to perform together during an upcoming taping of ‘CMT Crossroads.’

Journey frontman Arnel Pineda recently told ABS-CBN morning show Kris TV: “We will have a two-show crossroad thing with Rascal Flatts. It will happen on the third week of February in Nashville. They will sing a couple of Journey songs, then we will sing their songs.”

After a dizzying 2011 schedule that included stops in Chile, England, Northern Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands, Journey will embark on another ambitious world tour this year, hitting South America with Styx, Loverboy, Foreigner and Heart, and touring the U.S. with Loverboy.

If that’s not enough of an 80s band mashup for you, Journey’s ‘Any Way You Want It’ is currently being featured in the trailer for the upcoming film ‘Rock of Ages’ along with hits from Night Ranger and Twisted Sister.
