Have you ever had one of those times when you forget to set the DVR for a favorite show? Well, with a new feature from DirecTV, you have three days to watch the program, and the company brought along Jon Bon Jovi to help promote it.

In the clip above, a couple settles back on the couch in front of the TV only to realize that they didn't record the program they wanted to see. But then Bon Jovi, with his acoustic guitar, turns up in their living room and serenades them with the joy of DirecTV's 72 Hour Rewind function. "You see, we got the power to turn back time / That show you missed, let's just go back and find."

Bon Jovi then sets his sights on the bowl of salsa on the coffee table and the young boy drawing all over the walls. "And let's go back and choose spicy instead of mild / And maybe reconsider having that second child."

Even though he's trying to turn back the clock on television, Jon Bon Jovi is very much looking toward the future these days. Bon Jovi are expected to deliver their 14th studio album, This House Is Not for Sale, later this year. It's their first album of all-new material without founding guitarist Richie Sambora. They had hoped to have it out in March, but six weeks ago, the frontman told a Nashville audience that it was likely to come out in the fall, with a tour beginning in early 2017.
