Win a 19-CD John Mellencamp ‘1978-2012′ Box Set

On Dec. 10, John Mellencamp will release a career-spanning box set, 'John Mellencamp 1978-2012.' Ultimate Classic Rock and Diffuser have teamed up with Universal to give one lucky winner a copy of this awesome collection!

'John Mellencamp 1978-2012' contains 223 songs spread out over all of the 19 albums that Mellencamp has recorded to date, from his debut up through 'No Better Than This.' This includes classic records like 'American Fool,' 'Scarecrow' and 'The Lonesome Jubilee,' as well as 'Falling from Grace,' the soundtrack to his 1992 film which has been long out-of-print. Twelve of the albums contain bonus tracks.

Last week, Mellencamp announced that he has been writing feverishly for his next album, with 85 songs to choose from. As with his three previous works, including his musical, 'Ghost Brothers of Darkland County,' it will be produced by T Bone Burnett.
