Even though he’s not collecting signs on this tour, Springsteen still takes requests once in a while. In Albany, N.Y. on April 16, Springsteen broke out ‘Janey, Don't You Lose Heart’ for someone in the crowd named Molly in memory of her mother, Janey. The song was first heard as the B-side of ‘I’m Goin’ Down.’

Rather than have the band play a song that they’ve only performed 17 times previously, Springsteen chose to sing the song with just his acoustic guitar, with a whistling solo in the middle. But Bruce got some help from the crowd, who joined in for the final chorus on his cue.
