Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne has mapped out a fall U.S. leg of his 2011 solo acoustic tour. The new series of dates launches Sept. 23 in Interlochen, Mich., and runs through a Nov. 17 gig in Gaviota, Calif.

Browne recently wrapped up a spring leg of his solo acoustic tour, which features the singer-songwriter alone onstage playing guitar and piano. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been mixing in his classic hits, like 'Doctor My Eyes' and 'Running on Empty,' with tunes he penned or co-wrote for others, such as the Eagles' 'Take It Easy.'

As part of his ongoing environmental efforts, Browne's gigs feature free filtered water through a hydration system in lieu of plastic bottles, as well as energy-efficient lighting.

Prior to the fall jaunt, Browne will perform at a Clearwater fundraiser June 17 in Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., and at the Folks Festival on Aug. 21 in Lyons, Colo.

Browne's one-man sets have been captured on the live albums 'Solo Acoustic, Vol. 1' (2005) and 'Vol. 2' (2008). His most recent studio album is 2008's 'Time the Conqueror.'
