Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson is not known for his reticence, and he let a fan know exactly how he felt at a concert on Thursday night (July 19), calling the man a "wanker" after he saw him texting during several songs in a row while the band performed.

According to Blabbermouth, the iconic metal band were ten songs into their set at the Klipsch Music Center in Indianapolis, Ind. when they launched into the intro of 'Wasted Years.' Dickinson had evidently observed a fan seated near the stage texting during several previous songs, and he'd had enough. "Oh, for f--k's sake, the man [in] the white shirt, you've been texting for the last three f--king songs!" Dickinson admonished directly into the mic. "You're a wanker!" The rest of the crowd roared their approval as Maiden continued the show.

Iron Maiden are currently on the road in America for a 34-date tour dubbed Maiden America. The road trek is the group's most extensive stateside tour in many years, featuring a stage setup based on the band's tour in support of 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.' The set list draws primarily from the '80s, focusing heavily on classic Maiden. Check out the tour dates here.
