Get ready for the Edventure of a lifetime, Iron Maiden fans. The essence of the British power metal legends and their fans will be invading and taking over Hopton Holiday Park in Norfok in the U.K. for not one, not two, but three nights next October. The three nights will be filled with guest speakers, tournaments, quizzes to test fans' knowledge of the band and karaoke. You might want to be careful, since you can OD on Maiden.

The organizers said, "We plan to cram, the long weekend full of Maiden madness including guest speakers, themed events and tournaments. There will be quizzes to test your Maiden knowledge and if you fancy being Bruce [Dickinson, vocals] for a while, then you can show off your vocal talent in a karaoke competition. If you need to find that elusive piece of Maiden memorabilia, then you might just find it amongst the trading tables that we will set up. There are TV screens throughout the park that will be playing all of your favorite Maiden DVDs and videos." It all sounds so very medieval and very Maiden-esque.

Hi-On Maiden and Maiden Scotland, two premiere Maiden tribute bands, will be on hand to perform, as will Pocket Godzillas and the Fallen.

There is a caveat, and it is a major one. The members of the band will not be on site. The band will not be performing or attending the Edventure. They live it daily, so they don't need to be a part of these festivities, although it would be fun if they were on site. Despite the absence of Bruce Dickinson and co., band mascot Ed Hunter will be a part of the goings on!

"Eddie will be on hand to keep an eye on you so beware," the organizers said.

An appearance by Ed Hunter is almost enough to make up for the lack of Maiden! The festival is set to take place Oct. 5 through Oct. 8.
