The collection contains remastered versions of the 14 records the legendary singer, songwriter and carouser recorded for RCA from 1967 to 1977. This includes his hit-filled albums like 'Nilsson,' as well as his album-length interpretations of standards and Randy Newman songs. In addition, there are three CDs of demos, outtakes and various sketches. This includes the demo of 'Cuddly Toy,' which we premiered here.

Although he's probably best remembered these days by casual fans as John Lennon's drinking buddy during the "Lost Weekend," Nilsson was one of the best pure singers in rock history, capable of going from deep emotion ('Without You') to whimsy ('Coconut') to downright raunch ('You're Breaking My Heart') without blinking an eye. This box set displays the full range of his talents and vision in a way no other collection has done before.
