Reinforcing an earlier round of rumors, Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba has confirmed that the band will return to Las Vegas this spring.

Speaking with local TV station KVVU, Ashba is quoted as saying, "We're going to be back at the Hard Rock, at the Joint. We're doing a residency. It's going to be a true rock 'n' roll Las Vegas month at the Hard Rock, for sure."

Although neither the band nor the venue have publicly confirmed anything, there's clearly something going down between GNR and the Joint. As we previously reported, the Joint's been advertising the group's arrival via its Facebook page (and on a local billboard), as well as urging fans to "Text GNR to 97580 to be the first to hear the big news."

However, word is circulating that the residency, to be dubbed "No Trickery! An Evening Of Destruction," will run from May 21 to June 7. Tickets are expected to go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10:00AM at axs.com. We will have more details when they become official.

Earlier reports suggested that an official announcement was scheduled for Feb. 10 with tickets to go on sale Feb. 14, but we probably shouldn't be surprised that both dates came and went without any activity from the Gunners' camp. Frontman Axl Rose is known for doing things when he's good and ready, and not a moment before -- as he said last year, "I'm not a 'punctual' type of person."
