It might have taken more than a decade and a half for Guns N Roses to finally get 'Chinese Democracy' released, but reportedly the group already has a number of tracks completed for their next record.

Speaking to Noise11, Guns N Roses guitarist Richard Fortus says the group has spent a lot of time working on the new album, and has many songs completed. Still, he cautions that while they are making good progress, he doesn't expect the album to see the light of day before 2014. Interestingly, no more than two months ago, Guns N Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal told fans to "forget about a new record."

If what Fortus says holds true, the turnaround would be remarkably quick compared to the approximately 17 years between the 'Use Your Illusion' albums and 'Chinese Democracy.' Guns N' Roses has recently been announcing more and more U.S. summer concert dates, and are plotting the release of a 3D concert film.
