As expected, Kiss star Gene Simmons did in fact marry longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed last night at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

Sixty-two-year-old Simmons and 54-year-old Tweed, who had been dating for 28 years, exchanged self-written vows. Reports indicate that the bride was wearing more than $2.5 million in bling -- and that's not including her engagement ring -- and wore three dresses over the course of the night. Among the 400 guests in attendance were comedian Bill Maher, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and fellow members of Kiss, whose Paul Stanley was in the wedding party. Guests at the ceremony cheered when Simmons said, "I do."

The couple's two kids -- 22-year-old Nick and 19-year-old Sophie -- were also on hand, with Sophie serving as maid of honor. Sophie also performed the Etta James classic 'At Last' (nice choice!) for the first dance.

Simmons also stars in the reality show 'Family Jewels,' which last season featured an episode in Belize that featured the big proposal. Of Tweed, Simmons said during the episode, "I come with so much baggage, but you're the only friend I've got, you're the only one I've ever loved. I've never said those words to anybody. It's funny, I used to watch movies where they say I can't live without you, but for me it's true."

The wedding will be featured on the next season of 'Family Jewels,' which premieres Tuesday.
