Foreigner‘s taking to the road again for their 40th anniversary, and they’ve invited some familiar faces along – including original frontman Lou Gramm, Billboard reports.

1/9 Update: After initially saying he hadn’t been invited, Gramm now says he will reunite with Foreigner for “a song or two” at an undetermined show in the future.

Cheap Trick and former drummer Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience will share the bill, which will also feature guest turns by Gramm’s fellow departed co-founders Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood. “They’re not on the whole tour, but there will be some appearances,” original Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones tells Billboard. “It’s the right time to do this. I’m looking forward to that and we’ll see how it goes, and I’m sure it’ll go down well.”

These package bills begin on June 11 in Syracuse and continue through Sept. 9 in Auburn, Wash. A complete list of dates, cities and venues is below; tickets go on sale Jan. 13 via Live Nation. Foreigner already announced a string of other individual concerts set to begin on Jan. 30, as well as a European tour that starts on May 20 in Switzerland.

Cheap Trick was part of Foreigner’s first-ever headlining tour in 1978. Bonham was with the band from 2004-08. Jones says he expects all three acts to collaborate with one another on stage along the way. “I couldn’t be a better mix for me,” Jones added. “It’s almost like a family tour, with some healthy competition from everybody, I’m sure. Cheap Trick’s not an easy band to go on after.”

Foreigner is also promising some new material as part of a forthcoming two-disc 40-song anniversary compilation. Jones’ memoir A Foreigner’s Tale is set for publication this spring, as well.
