When Twisted Sister released their teen rebellion anthem 'We're Not Gonna Take It' in 1984, they probably didn't anticipate that one day it would be part of a promotional campaign for a motel. The rockers have re-recorded the career-defining track for a new commercial by Extended Stay America.

The members of Twisted Sister don't appear in the clip, but the song figures prominently, providing the soundtrack while legions of dissatisfied motel denizens storm out into the street in protest of the lack of amenities in their rooms. And they have every reason to be upset -- why should they have to put up with that, when Extended Stay America offers a fully equipped kitchen with Culligan filtered water, free grab-and-go breakfast, free in-room WiFi, and flat screen TVs?

Of course, 'We're Not Gonna Take It' is also featured in the screen adaption of the Broadway musical 'Rock of Ages,' which is coming to Blu-ray, DVD and digital download on Oct. 9. According to Blabbermouth, the home release's bonus features include 'Legends of the Sunset Strip,' in which Twisted Sister and other bands like Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Def Leppard relive the music and vibe of the '80s Sunset Strip metal scene.
