Still reeling from the murder of more than 100 fans at Paris's Bataclan concert venue, the Eagles of Death Metal posted an alarming status on their Facebook page.  "We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew," the statement reads. "Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation."

Reports of the band's safety have cropped up on several social media accounts. Members of the bands Red Lemons and White Miles have both asserted that all Eagles of Death Metals members are safe. Additionally, drummer Julian Doro's mother told the Washington Post that "her son and other band members managed to escape the concert hall when the attack there began. However, the fate of several crew members remains unknown." The Post article cites no other band member names.

NBC News reports that front man Jesse Hughes and all other band members are safe, but that not all of the band's crew members have been accounted for.

In related news, Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach's side project, the Arcs, managed to safely escape the chaos in Paris, noting on their Twitter account that "we are safe and in our bus on the highway headed to the border."
