If you've been curious about what mystic mumbo gumbo Dr. John and Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys have been cooking up in the studio, the pair revealed a track from Dr. John's new album 'Locked Down,' produced by Auerbach, on a recent episode of 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.'

This performance of 'Revolution' features Auerbach on lead guitar, but the number belongs to Dr. John. Outfitted in his trademark fedora and shades, the piano master stands a bit awkwardly behind a keyboard, growling lyrics as the band churns behind him, before unleashing a classic organ solo.

'Locked Down' emerged on April 3 from Nonesuch Records and was the result of a few years of mutual admiration between Auerbach and Dr. John. When Auerbach invited him to an all-star jam at last year's Bonnaroo festival, the pair soon found themselves collaborating in the studio.

New York fans of New Orleans-style soul-funk voodoo as practiced by a true master can catch Dr. John right now in a three-week residency at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
