After previously postponing six shows on their current North American tour due to the death of singer Joe Elliott's father, Def Leppard have now rescheduled five additional concerts. In addition, the band has canceled its scheduled appearance tomorrow (July 17) at Rock Fest in Cadott, Wis.

The newly postponed shows on Def Leppard's headlining tour with openers Heart include stops in Dallas; Tulsa, Okla.; New Orleans; Houston; and San Antonio. Heart will still appear at all of the shows except for the Dallas gig, which has been rescheduled for Aug. 6. The other aforementioned concerts will now take place in September. Def Leppard's tour will now resume with a July 27 gig in Cincinnati. A full revised itinerary has been posted below.

As for the Rock Fest gig, Stone Temple Pilots have stepped in to fill Def Leppard's headlining slot tomorrow night. That lineup also includes Ted Nugent, Tesla and Jackyl. "Def Leppard sincerely regrets this inconvenience and looks forward to returning to the Wisconsin area in the future," reads a statement on Def Leppard's official website.

As we recently reported, Joe Elliott's father, Joe Elliott Sr., died a little over a week ago after a long hospitalization following a series of heart attacks. Click here to read a touching tribute to Joe Sr.
